Full-Stack Engineer
I am a developer living in Seoul, South Korea. I studied here, and I have spent several years working here as a developer, which shaped my ability to adapt to different environments, cultures, and challenges.
I am a Full-Stack Engineer with over 3.5 years of experience in software development. I have experience working in startups and enterprise companies in Korea.
My primary stack is Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, NestJS, React/Next.js and databases like MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB. Lately I have been actively using and mastering agentic coding tools (AI) including Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. In my professional career I have experience as both a backend and frontend developer, I have built applications from zero to deployment, such as Blockchain Explorer, serverless monitoring tool, Medical CRM app, and many more. Currently my responsibility at work is to build frontend applications and maintain production servers in the cloud. (More about my work in "experience" section)
These days in my free time I learn system design, agentic coding tools (AI), and I build my own projects. The most recent project I've built is "DevGarden" - a blog platform, which is currently in development. I also like to read books on self-development, productivity, and software development.
Built the frontend for a clinic management CRM serving 25+ medical centers. Optimized application performance by ~30% using Zustand for global state and API caching. Automated zero-downtime CI/CD pipelines to AWS ECS using GitHub Actions.
Developed the NestJS backend for a blockchain explorer serving up to 20,000 monthly active users. Engineered a cross-chain token bridge handling 2,000+ daily transactions, and built a serverless container monitoring system utilizing AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
Migrated legacy PHP APIs to TypeScript, resulting in a 20-30% improvement in system execution speed. Designed a real-time WebSocket token distribution system supporting over 5,000 active platform users.
